Xciting S400i from Kymco

I am reviewing the exciting Maxi scooter from Kymco, the XCITING S400i. I have already ridden over two hundred miles on dual carriageways and motorways giving it a real test as a commuter machine.

The Kymco links to an App on your smartphone, Noodoe. This allows you to be very creative with digital displays on the scooter and there is a large following on Instagram where people showcase their designs. You can add your favourite photos to the App so these appear on the centre display on start up.

I have been riding this great Maxi Scooter and decided to take it for a long journey to test its touring capability. Happily, it is fantastic, comfortable, cruises at speed and can carry plenty of kit on the pillion seat. Check out more images on Instagram and Twitter. @jemweb.

Powerful 400cc engine allows the scooter to cruise at autoroute speeds. It could do with cruise control to make things even easier on long journeys.

The longer I have had this superb Kymco Xciting the more I just want to keep it. It proves so handy to jump on and go. Blasting up to London is a breeze and you can avoid congestion, or filter through traffic easily.
