Where has the year gone? I have been so busy.

Wow how can we nearly be in August? I am writing this at the end of July and over half way through the year.

I havre been so busy helping other companies with social media, content, filming, photography and event organising, I have not had the time to do my own writing as much as I have wanted to. Sorry.

I have been driving some vehicles and riding some motorbikes but not had the time to write up the reviews, so watch this space. One vehicle I drove in July was the superb Ssangyong Musso lwb luxury Pickup truck. I was so impressed with the Musso which drove like a good luxury SUV but with the added attributes of being a twin cab so five passengers can sit in comfort and put loads and loads of kit in the cargo load area. It comes with a stack of technology for safety and entertainment. I was loaned the vehicle by a Kia and Ssangyong dealer local to me.

Driving is becoming more hazardous as traffic increases and drivers are distracted more easily. Using mobile phones while driving is still happening and people in safwe cars think they can drive badly and the car will stop them having an accident. No No No it won’t. You must pay attention all the time as driving is fluid, always changing.

If you are unfortunate and in an accident, you want peace of mind determining the cause of the accident and more and more people are using Dash cam systems. I have been using the Vantrue Element 2 system which is awesome. It comes with a forward camera and one for the rear, recording simutniously and storing the data on a memory card. It connects to wifi for GPS positioning, and bluetooth to your smartphone so you can connect the App and see information from the camera. Full review coming soon.

I have been busy helping my friend with his e-motorcycle dealership, MotoEbikes Ltd of Guildford. Doing some content for him along with filming and photography. He is a dealer for Zero Motorcycles, Surron, Horwin, Caofen, and Talaria. We took some of the e-motorcycles to Newlands corner in Surrey, and spoke to lots of bikers who were impressed by the electric machines.

Lee Robinson who owns MotoEbikes is hosting a Zero Motorcycles Road Show on 16th and 17th September.

Saturday 16th at his Dealership Merrow lane, Guildford.

17th September Newlands Corner Surrey Hills. To book demo rides visit Zero Motorcycles website and search events.

Working on events has taken a lot of my time over the last few months. I have been orgnising Bike Nights and one in particular is the first Bike Night ever for the Hunters Inn, Swanmore, Hampshire.

23rd August from 18:30 to 20:30.

Large car park for plenty of bikes to attend and be displayed.

The pub has food for sale until 21:00 and there is lots to choose from.

Hope to see you there.

They say buses come along in twos and threes, well in July I have driven three Subaru cars and enjoyed all of them.

Full reviews are on this website in the Cars section.

In June courtesy of Raymarine technology I was given the opportunity to take my level two Powerboat certificate. I had such a blast being taught by Sam from Solent Boat Training in Southampton. The course lasts two days and you learn on the water, while in RIBs. My full review of the training will be posted in August. After we got our certificates, we jumped on an Axa Pro 28 luxury powerboat and cruised over to the Isle of Wight. Moored in Cowes Marina and had a wonderful lunch. Thanks to Raymarine.
